On December 19, 2004, about 20 of us went caroling in a local Bealeton neighborhood.  We also went to the Sheetz gas station.  It was a freezing evening, sleet and snow was coming down, but our caroling group was warm with excitement.  Why?  Through donations of members of Soul Purpose Church, we placed $20 in each of our Christmas cards we handed out.  We only asked that the recipient “pay it forward” through any creative means they desired.

Daughter’s Death
My oldest two daughters became the best of friends.  Something they never really had before.  The move back to Virginia was so hard on them.  But I recall Chelsea sending me an e-mail at work one time that said, Mom, you know how hard this move has been on Alicia & I, but, if the only good thing that has come out of this move is the fact that Alicia & I became so close, then it was ALL worth it!

Life Change
Before Christ came into my life, I grew up not really knowing Him. Of course I knew that he saved us and rewarded us happiness in eternity but I didn’t quite understand that. My family and I were not regular churchgoers and I found church rather boring and I didn’t connect fully to what the pastor was saying in his or her sermons. Life Change
Before knowing Christ as my Savior, I was raised in a Lutheran Church but did not know who Christ really was. When my parents separated, my Uncle Ron came and explained the Gospel in great detail to my mother, myself and my two sisters.
