Page 1 of 2 Most of us divide our lives into compartments: School, Work, Family, Recreation, Religion. Sometimes when one part of life (family) is not going well, we console ourselves with another part that is going well (work, perhaps). Then there are those moments when everything seems to be fine, yet there is the nagging feeling that something is wrong. Why do we feel empty? What is missing?

Meet Your Maker Weekend
Save the weekend of 5/30 – 6/1 and come join us for a camping and hiking weekend retreat! We will be camping Friday and Saturday nights and hiking
Old
Rag
Mountain on Saturday.
Be prepared to meet with God as we look at His attributes in the wonders of His creation. Join with others around the campfire for an evening of Praise and Worship.
All meals and drinks will be provided. There is a small food and materials fee of $15/person. There is also a $7.50/person fee to hike Old Rag.
You will need a tent. There is also a list of suggested items you may want to bring for your comfort and convenience, such as folding chairs and toiletries. This list is available from either Mike Webb, Jim Ginther or at Soul Purpose Church.
Space will be limited to the first 25 who register. This weekend is open to any and all who wish to participate. The only caveat is that all participants will be expected to hike, and it is a moderate to strenuous activity.
The final date for registration is 5/25. Registration forms are also available from SPC, Mike or Jim.
You may contact Mike or Jim through Soul Purpose Church for more info. |
